Craig was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University before heading off to California to attend law school. He returned to Houston and was admitted to the Texas bar because he wanted to help make his hometown a haven for new and old Americans, where people of all origins, nationalities, and ethnicities could mutually benefit from each other’s culture, talents, and perspectives.
